I'd have to put NE equal with the PS.  Our wins early against ATL and TB are looking more and more like the result of timing (ATL not having an offensive identity; TB not steady yet under Freeman) than simple superiority.

I think they're awfully close, but I think our defense is still the tipping point in this equation.

NE is still 28th in total defense and 18th in scoring defense.  You could make the same argument about a couple of their wins as well.

The biggest reason to rank them equally is that we have Bruce Arians and they don't.

4.   BAL (5-2), (last week: 4, calculated power score: 49, calculated rank: 12).

Ravens are a thorny team, overhyped but no fun to play.  Flacco seems to be regressing.

Miami Dolphins (4-3) at Baltimore Ravens (5-2)
Line: Ravens by 5. Total: 40.5.
All New Maffematical Predictor Says:  Ravens by 5.
Finny Says:  Ravens 24-16.

Not a bad pick. I don't think Flacco is regressing, I think he is exactly the same as he was as a rookie. I agree with the report that if you take away his primary target he gets confused and cannot find anyone else except for his RB. Rice made Joe's day look a lot better than it really was.
