Yeah, that's what I thought too, but that would make it Jan 2000 which differs from that page in the link - 1/11/2003, so maybe that wasn't the genesis of the Bud Selig shenanigans.

Or did the Selig stuff start after one of the AFCC losses to the Patsies?

Nah, it was after the loss to the Titans...which occurred after the comeback vs. the Browns. 2002/03.
