Let the fines begin

The Patriots should be getting huge fines from the NFL for helmet-to-helmet hits!

Yep. I'm also assuming Favre's "investigation" will be dragged out until the end of the season at which time he will conviniently retire. No way they suspend him during the year.

Which begs the question, what is more of a violation of personal conduct? A single guy in his 20s hooking up in a bathroom or a married man in his 40s sending text messages behind his wife's back, not to mention the possibility of sending pictures of his wang.

Saw it all night last night.  The late hit on Ben, two helmet-to-helmet shots without penalty, etc.

Certainly these did not cost us the game.  But it's still infuriating.

I know he was not in the wrong, but I swear Harrison's comments about "wanting to put people out of the game" after the Brown's game has put the whole defense under the microscope. Add that to the hardon the league already has for them because of the Ben situation and you get what we've seen this season.

The Commish hates Ward as well, so I suspect there will be no fine.

Absolutely Harrison should have keep the sentiment to himself.  That's more of an "add to the legend" thing for after one retires.

I seem to remember an incompletion to Welker in the first half where Ryan Clark obviously pulled up and looked like he was even laughing about it. Was at the game so not sure if this was mentioned on TV at all.

Yeah, they showed that clip a couple times along with the old clip of Clark lighting Welker up.

I am actually shocked that Ryan Clark didn't get fined by Godell for that hit on Welker.  Granted it was a replay, and several years old, but it wouldn't of shocked me.

Even back thaten, that should have been a fine.  That was a total cheap shot.  Don't get me wrong I'm not sayin I don't like watching it!!!

I started to think it would have been worth the fines to just start clocking people.

Have not heard a word from the league office about those Patriot hits.  Surprise, surprise.
