Is RACE still an issue among NFL QB's? Done by the lovely Jamelle Hill.

You can read it here -------->> http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/commentary/news/story?page=hill/101123

I get sick and tired of reading an article with Jemele Hill (or even watching her on first and ten) to bring up "race, color and issues" over and over again. J. Campbell has had every opportunity to prove his worth in the NFL but he just hasn't played well...let's blame it on race. D. McNabb pulled with 2 minutes left...blame it on race, even though he just signed a multi-million dollar deal. V. Young and his rants, gotta be race. J. Hill does nothing but stir the pot she shouldn't be stirring. It's always surrounded by "race" with her. Even though a black athlete is playing poorly, according to her they should NEVER be benched or taken out of a game...that's just wrong. ESPN needs to fire her....now.

The only female worth a damn on ESPN is Suzy Kolber. Any women who can handle a drunk-ass Joe Namath is kick-ass!

You hear about his 25-35 record as a starter, but you don't hear that he's played for a different offensive coordinator in every season since the Redskins drafted him in the first round in 2005.

Excuse me?  That's the only thing you heard about the fucking guy.

One thing they got going for them: they can pull off the mustard colored suits.

Let's see Eli Manning try that shit.  Look like a toe dipped in French's.

LMMFAO!!! headbang

Ok...I don't get this......

"I'm not calling anyone out for being racist, and I realize this might seem like an odd conversation to have considering that Michael Vick is on the cover of this week's Sports Illustrated and his comeback is one of the best sports stories of the year.

I'm also not overlooking the facts that Campbell played poorly in the games in which he was benched, that Young's antics in Tennessee are largely to blame for his problems with Fisher, and that Shanahan has had difficult relationships with plenty of white quarterbacks in the past."

Really?  Then why even continue writing the fucking article?

But is it possible that some of Young's actions are a result of Fisher's lack of confidence, which has been a persistent issue since the Titans drafted Young against Fisher's wishes?

Most African-Americans are familiar with the notion that we have to be twice as good just to be considered equal with whites.

Despite all the progress that's been made by black quarterbacks, why does it still seem as if they are held to a different standard?

People are still searching for ways to blame newcomer Terrell Owens for the Bengals' disappointing 2-8 season,

Palmer and Manning certainly have been criticized, but rarely in their careers have they faced the same microscope or backlash that McNabb, Vick, or most other black starting quarterbacks have.

and my favorite.........  I'm not saying black quarterbacks are above criticism or that race plays a role every time one of them loses his job. White quarterbacks are benched and second-guessed, too, same as black ones. It comes with the position, regardless of race.

Lmao.  This chick needs let go.  Now.  So she opened the article up saying there were reasons for them to be benched.  AND she said towards the end of the article that all QBs get benched regardless of race.

And yet I read this.

Why P4P?  Why?

tl;dr.

I'm curious and maybe someone who decided to waste a few minutes of their life reading that mess can confirm, did she happen to bother explaining how a certain black QB managed to get a starting job over a certain white QB making 80 brazillian dollars to play that same position?

Goddamned affirmative action.

Stick to makin' sammiches, bish.

I had to think about it before I figured out you were talking about Mike Vick.  Or did you mean Tavaris Jackson?
