We haven't talked a lot about the fact that Troy is banged up.

We need to come up big and beat the Jets, while the Saints step up to take down the Ratbirds.  

Then the Steelers can rest Troy vs. the Panthers.  Seriously, I know, "any given Sunday" and all that.  But the Panthers are beyond deplorable.  It is painful to actually try and watch them.  The Steelers can beat them without Troy, seal up the division, and then have an additional week to rest him.  No need to risk further injury if the Browns game is meaningless.

He'll practice minimally and play, IMO.

I think the idea of resting Troy if we win and Balty loses is a great one. In fact, I'd favor resting Ben, too, for Carolina.

Not a bad plan.  Even if by some bizarre set of circumstances we lost, we still clinch with a win @Cleveland.

Jets game is certainly winnable, and I love Cleveland's chances now that McCoy will be back.
