Not surprised that BR's win % > than Bradshaw's.  I'm a heathen: I feel BR > TB.  Sorry.  There it is.  Love the 70s classic version beyond compare, but current QB is tops in my book.

Surprised by relatively high win % for Brister and Kordell.  Bad memories seem to overshadow them unduly?

Also, really surprising, and bolstering my assertion of BR > TB, is Bradshaw's completion stat.  Yes, different eras.  Still.

The important question is can Ben outdrink Bobby Layne yet. Ben's got the weight advantage, but Bobby just had a 12 pack at halftime.

Seemed like every year in the Brister era we were 8-7 or 7-8 going into the final week, with the "Steelers clinch a playoff berth if..." followed by a long list of scenarios.  So .500 sounds about right.

Running game was dominant during Stewart's time, minimizing Kordell Effect.

Yes, that was when we truly had a dominant power running attack and minimized throwing the football.  With that in mind...

Is anyone else getting a little annoyed with the ongoing commentary about how the Steelers are a power/running team and they just pound the football and minimize Ben's throws and Ben's a product of that and all that yada-yada-yada?

I mean, that argument is soooooo 2004.  I really think that actually watching the games--or at least reading box scores--should become a requirement for sports commentators.
