Samsung or Sony LED LCD or standard LCD (if you need to shave a few bills off the ticket price).  46"-55" depending on room size.  240hz is preferable, but 120hz is OK too.

Prices on quality sets are MFing cheap right now.  Someone I know just got a 55" Samsung LED LCD for around 15 hundy or so.  That is an outstanding price for that piece of equipment.

Personally, I wouldn't consider any other brand unless you can get it for a redonkulously cheap price.  By "cheap," I mean free.

I have 2 LG's.  Love them, a great picture. Also have a Sony Bravia that has a great picture as well.

Make sure you get 120 MHz or greater.
