Brinker, the smart play would be to use your house as a "bed-and-breakfast' for the other fans on this page. Rent them parking spots and floor space for their air mattresses.  You could even charge fees for a shuttle service.  That would go a long way to paying toward your own entrance.

One warning, though:  with this crowd, your home might be as much a "bed-and-barf-bucket" as it would bed-and-breakfast.

I vote go. I went solo (drove from richmond va by myself, in fact). Ended up meeting Jasonic, Otis and his homeboys and had a blast. dVR'd it and still watch that shit to see myself on tv. Best decision I ever made. I think about that trip at least 85 time each year.

More importantly, what kind of projector you got?  DLP?

Do you have a painted screen, or a real one?  Recessed in ceiling?

Mrs. BV is pushing for finishing the basement.  She has no idea it's gonna cost at least 10K for the AV.

Got it done for under 4k. 
Denon - 630W 7.1-Ch. 3D Pass Through A/V Home Theater Receiver
Vivitek - DLP Home Theater Projector H1082
Klipsch - Quintet 5-Channel Home Theater Speaker System
Screen Innovations -92" Fixed - Front-Projection Screen -Best Buy had sale right before football season and threw in the screen for free!
Installation not done by Geek squad---found a local guy to do it, ~ $500.00. It is a huge pain in the ass to figure the angles, program the remote and install the receiver

Not too bad and picture is great
