If I drive through someones 65 foot long hedge row and I only damage a section as wide as my damn car, am I responsible for replacing the whole fucking thing?  Someone is trying to fuck me real good.  65 feet of hedge, a tree and another shrub for like $8,600.00.  For MOTHERFUCKING SHRUBBERY!!!!!

Well, it's gonna depend on what they have to replace.  If it's one of those continuous things that you can't section off, then maybe.
You're really gonna need a landscape guy to tell you what's what.
Basically, you're gonna be responsible for whatever damage you did, accidental or not.  But you can offset that by showing only a certain amount of the hedge needs to be replaced, rather than the whole thing.

WTF are you doing driving through people's hedgerows anyway???

This shouldn't be considered legal advice.

Essentially, what LC said.  You are responsible for returning the shrubs to their original state.  So, unless they're some sort of rare, intimately intertwined species/breed of arborvitae, I've gotta think that you can get a landscaper to do that at a fraction of the cost without replacing the whole thing.

Sounds like the property owner is just looking for a windfall.

Good luck with that.  Trees can be expensive, too.

Here is what I did.  I was legally intoxicated at a .103 bac  That was 2 beers in 90 minutes boys.  Fucking be careful out there!!  Damned animal ran in front of my car and i veered to miss it.  Got in gravel and when my tires caught it shot me across the road into these bushes.

How small are you?

Santonio's cock would have a lower BA after 2 beers.

More likely is that you were still half in the bag from the night before.

Hell, those effing shrubs will grow back.  That first pic looks like scrub brush that needs to be cut down.  But the shrub/hedge - it looks uprooted.  Just get out there and replant that sucker!  Case closed, bitches.
