Based on the discussion on sportshoopla.com (NHL General hockey forum), this could open up cap space for a couple rental players at the trade deadline...so hopefully not all lost.

Seeing Spezza in a Pens sweater would make me puke.

It's mostly a bunch of the good posters from the ESPN NHL General board (now labeled "the swamp") who got sick of the trolling crap and left to build their own board (sound familiar?).  

We have a standing rule of only respectful smack talk.  It is eating up Pens and Flyers fans inside.

+1, fuck Spezza. No idea what Ray can do at this point anyways given the draft-picks we've given up over the years. Might be taking this year on the chin so to speak.
