Yeah they came out flat but i kind of expected that with a florida game sandwiched between 2 philly games and a NJ game. MAF definitely bailed their asses out. Oh well, two points is two points. Tuesday night is a monster for sure.

Letestu back centering the top line in the morning skate. Great news.

Looks like:

Neal-Letestu-Kovy
Kunitz-Staal-Kennedy (Ken---ne----dy)
Duper-Talbot-Conner
Rupp-Adams-Asham

He centered the 5th line at practice with Godard and Tangradi on the wings. Doubt any of them are going to play. Good bet that they dress Engelland tonight though.

So much for the division title.

2. PHI 76gp 46-20-10 102pts
4. PIT 77gp  45-24-8  98pts

3/29
PHI 5 PIT 2

Didn't see the game but from the radio call sounds like Letang as Norris candidate might be a bit over the top.  Fleury didn't seem sharp either.

From Rossi:

@Rossi_on_Pens

"Crosby cleared by doctors to practice with teammates, will make trip to Florida with team."

They looked good for the first 15 minutes then like dogshit thereafter. Pens had a phenominal scoring  chance up 2-1 but they fucked it up (i still dont know how they didn't score). If it goes to 3-1 there, who knows.

You are correct in your assumption that neither the defense or fluery were sharp. I actually hope they sit down fluery here for a game or two. The guys been playing a fuckton and looks like he needs a night off. Saturday against Florida would be a good choice.

Lines at the morning skate today:

Neal-Letestu-Kovalev
Kunitz-Staal-Kennedy
Duper-Talbot-Conner
Rupp-Adams-Duffman

Duffman replaces Asham on the 4th line, probably miscast there but whatever.

Also, apparently Rossi jumped the gun on Crosby "practicing" with the team. I gotta stop posting his tweets, he's about as reliable as my gameday predictions.

Well, fucking Tampa won. Down to a 1 point lead for home ice. Johnson is in net tonight.

Philly on a mini-slide here. They have the tiebreaker and a game in hand but stranger things have happened in sports.

2. PHI 79 GP 46-22-11  103 points
4. PIT 79 GP 46-25-8    100 points

4. PIT 79 GP 46-25-8    100 points
5. TB  79 GP 44-24-11    99 points

4/3

NYR 3 PHI 2 F/SO
TB 2 CHI 0

4/5

NJ@PIT
TB@BUF

Edit: Updated. Asshole rangers couldn't do us a solid and win in regulation. Hate rooting for them anways. looks like we're set in the number 4/5 slot, so lets hope for a win tues and a tampa loss so we can maybe rest a few guys over the last couple games.
