The Cooke hit was just fucking unnecessary. Not only did he guarantee himself a lengthy suspension, but he also cost us a valuable points. If Sid can't make it back by playoff time, we're gonna need home ice against Tampa. Cooke is one of our best penalty killers too, and he can't kill penalties when he needlessly takes himself out of games. Dude needs to straighten up.

Having said that, he deserves the 10 games, but for the first round of the playoffs too? I think that's a little excessive. Chara almost fucking murdered someone and didn't get shit, and Cooke gets a possible 17 game suspension? If Cooke injured the guy, maybe I could see it. But as far as I know, the guy is fine.

Probably needed to beat them in regulation to have any chance at the division but it's nice to beat those guys regardless. Monster games from Letang and Big Z (my favorite offseason signing).

If we win tonight and Carolina loses we clinch a playoff spot at least. Orpik may play tonight and is supposed to be back by Sunday at the latest.

Good chance to stay on a roll, and put a nail in that boring ass New Jersey team's coffin.  Having said that, I'd love to see Washington have to slog through their trap for seven games, but they're 8 pts back with 9 to play.  Not going to happen.

Video of Sid skating, disgusting backhand at the 47 second mark. Apparently he went through about an hour workout today. I predict he's back on April 10th against atlanta. Then, it's showtime folks.


Also Mr. Duff's back in the lineup tonight. Still holding out hope that hip injury caused him to suck ass early in the year. Would be nice to get some more offensive firepower for down the stretch.

Nice. They suck, but give me them over Montreal or the Rangers in the first round any day. Good little tune up series.

Also, if I lived in NJ and had to be a Devils fan I'd fucking give up watching hockey.  Opened up a little bit in the third but, wow, I hate the fucking trap. Lame shit. But I loved grinding those assholes to a pulp.
