I know most of you guys could care less about this, but Hines has proven that he is a Steeler in this competition.  He's been freaking awesome through this whole thing, approaching it as you would expect. Studying tape, working tirelessly, using the hyperbaric chamber (no, not really, I don't think he's needed it)....
He's amazing.  He almost crippled his partner last week and they amazingly came back and got perfect scores last night.  Tonite they were voted into the finals.

Here's video of the dances, and the accident, from last night:

Seriously guys, if I never ask you for anything else, please watch and vote for him next week.  You can text "Vote" to 3403 or you can vote on the ABC website or you can call 800-868-3403.

Just do it! Prove that Steeler Nation is just as powerful as Cowboy Nation! Emmitt Smith is the only other NFLer to win. We have to show that Hines is just as good!!

If Hines wins the Mirror Ball, there may be photos I post.....
Just sayin...... Cool

AND....they're doing their freestyle to a Jackson 5 compilation, which should ROCK and Hines said that since he's never seen a halftime show in any of the games he's played, he's going to BE the halftime show.

{in my Bart Scott voice} CAN'T WAIT!!

LC - We should probably get your photo shoot on my calendar, soon, so the pics are ready for MGS'ers in a timely manner.

I expected him to do well, but I wasn't sure about him being a finalist.  His recent performances solidified his place, tho.  The dude makes it look easy and he gives the impression of having fun too.

Considering that fan votes make up half the scoring, I'd be pretty surprised if Hines doesn't take home the trophy.  About the only thing that might prevent him from doing that would be a Kirstie Alley like fall.

Watch that second vid, it's pretty funny.  The size difference between his Korean mom and African American dad is crazy.  Momma likes climbing trees, I guess.

Good stuff, Leigh, I've been watching the whole time, can't believe it! And let's face it, folks; Steeler Nation will kick little Chelsea Kane's Disney ass and Kirstie Alley's ass as well. (Kirstie has done some serious weight loss during this, good for her)

Man, he's got some moves!!!!   The man doesn't know how not to have fun, he's smiling just like on the field...

I think I finally have the ammunition to turn my GF into a Steelers fan.

I thought his dad was never in the picture!?!  is his dad in the interview, or it's an old picture?

I can't bring myself to watch, even the clips.

I might tag along with Jonzr to a concert b4 I watched an episode of that.   Cheesy

BV, if you're scared, don't watch! You can still text "Vote" to 3403 or you can call 800-868-3403 up to 5 times. Your voting space in the Steeler Nation will remain hidden, just like Otis!

Aww BV, I swear, you need to watch! Hell, Silverback, Troy, Max, Farrior, and I can't remember who else have all been to see him!  If they can actually sit in the audience, you can surely stomach a couple of clips!

Hines' dad was in a picture they showed with his mom when they were young.  MFer was TALL!!

What's your calendar look like? I'm busy Memorial Day weekend and the weekend after, but can probably work something out after that.

Nice avatar!!!  Scared - No bullying here VA, LOL.

I don't know if I can even articulate how art-sie "stuff" appeals to me as much as purchasing bike pants appeals to others.

A few years ago Mrs. BV finally talked me into going to a Broadway type show.  It was the green witch show, Uhhhh - Wicked.  I swear, someone punching me in the face for that same amount of time would have been better.  We went with some friends too.  At the intermission, they were asking me - "isn't this great?" and Mrs. friend said " I knew you would like it".  At that point I informed them I had to go, to uh, let's see, yeah yeah yeah - get home so the sitter wouldn't be out too late on a weeknight.

My punishment is I have a daughter that loves drama club and the other one plays piano and violin.  I attend those performances to support them, and 30 to 60 minutes is my max.

Anyone ever watch the show Rules of Engagement? One character on the show is the guy that played Putty on Seinfeld.  Same sort of character, but not as aloof.  For his wife's b-day he bought tickets, coincidentally, to Wicked.  She opend the envelope and there was one ticket inside.  LMFAO.

Ever since I saw Fantasia, I can't help loving watching dancing hippos.

Hines looking to win big on Lifetime Television and I saw the Steelers won the ESPN NFL Helmet Power Ranking contest a few days ago.

Now if that doesn't take the sting of a SB loss away, I don't know what will.

BTW, Hines is my boy and all...and I know he's got a kid, but who the fuck is "Hines' Friend" Corey Allen?

Kinda got an 67% vibe when I saw that.

Not that there's anything wrong with that, 'course...

BV!! That's hysterical! Personally, I love the show but then again, I'm a theatre girl. And my daughter is the one who introduced the show to me, gotta love those daughters.

So...maybe ONE little vote for Hines since you don't need to watch?

The Niblick if it's still 60's-tastic.  The Westport used to be good (I wrote two thirds of my dissertation at the bar) but I heard it got remodeled so I'm not sure.  Ma Bells.  The Whey Pat.  And there's a beautiful pub that's between the old course and the new course but I can't remember the name of it.
