I hope he pulls a Favre and does so with the Steelers. He's a badass, and even if he performs at 75 percent of his former, more youthful self, he's still better than 90+ percent of the WRs in the league.

How much could the Steelers pay him if they were willing to - gasp - take a chance?

How much were they paying Randle El?

'Bout that.

I'd love to see him come in and play ca. 2007 Moss, but I think it's about as likely to slightly less likely than Mike Tomlin getting on the horn and saying Hey, Finny, I know you're a middle-aged dude with no football experience to speak of, but I've read your posts at MGS and I like your gumption, so why don't you try out for backup ILB for us?

How much were they paying ARE? I really don't know. I'd give Moss a couple mil for a season. He could help us score TDs instead of FGs during our frequent trips to the RZ.

Just saying, it won't be more than what we paid ARE, knowing this FO.

Also don't get the feeling Moss was ever anxious to play here.  But who knows.

I'd take Moss over ARE/Battle, even if he was only a "sometimes" kind of threat.

Would not be a good fit here.  We already have a deep threat who is only getting better in Wallace.  Is he Moss in his prime?  No.  But Moss isn't either.  Plus, if Moss played here he would have to block, which isn't gonna happen.

As per the weight loss thread, Finny's in the best shape of his career.

Not quite yet, but I'm planning on getting 30 pounds of hot dogs at Costco this weekend...
