In non-football related Steelers news....
(Going off topic)
For all out-of-area Steelers fans (and Batman fans): Christopher Nolan's lastest installment of the Dark Knight, a.k.a The Dark Knight Rises, is currently being filmed in Pittsburgh, which, of course, is functioning as the mythical Gothem City. And I guess when the producers/director elected to film in a city like Pittsburgh, it was only natural for them to add a football scene.
(Back on topic- sort of)
This past Saturday, the Gotham City Rogues took on the Rapid City Monuments at Heinz Field, in a game that featured explosions and the total destruction of our beloved gridiron. The Rogues bear a strong resemblance to our Pittsburgh Steelers: their colors are black and gold, they are coached by Bill Cowher, their quaterback is Ben Roethlisberger, and other Rogues players include: Hines Ward, Troy Polamalu, Maurkice Pouncey, Willie Colon, Mike Wallace, Heath Miller, Aaron Smith, Ryan Clark, James Farrior, Lamar Woodley, and Casey Hampton. Unfortunately, I do not know the finals score, but I suspect the Rogues faired well.
