What can you say?  Should be an automatic win.  I mean, like, really.

Obviously the possibility of the Dalton-Green effect was not considered when the former was posted.  Not to mention their solid defense.  Far from a gimme game, closer to a must-win.

Since getting off to a 6-2 start the Bengals lost to PIT, BAL and beat CLE, in that order.  Now they're at 7-4 and should be feeling a bit desperate if they're hungry for the playoffs.  They're currently free and clear in the final WC spot but things can change quickly with 5 games to go.

Over the last decade or so the bungholios have fairly consistently played well in Pittsburgh.  But these teams had Palmer, Johnson and Douchemanzadeh.  Did Dalton learn enough the first time around?  Hopefully L Wood is back for this one.

Yeah, hope Wood's back, in sporting form.

Pola's clear.

Sanders is healthy again, hope we get back some of that offense.

Gots to establish the run.  And hope the OL holds up.  SOS.

You gotta wonder how many more times Pola can be concussed before he's drooling out the side of his mouth.

Not long now. On Sunday night, he called Penso's ex-wife from the sideline.

Good news, everybody.

Love the Bengals (+6.5).

He didn't have a concussion.  He had "concussion like symptoms."  Nice little loophole Pittsburgh has been able to exploit.

Polamalu has a long history of concussions, beginning with two in high school. He had three while playing at Southern California, and he has had two previously with the Steelers -- in 2006 and '08. That's seven documented concussions.

Only seven?  Seems like he's gotten his bell seriously rung at least a few times a year for his career.  Like you said though - symptoms aren't recorded as the real thing.

The fairy tale ending would have Troy and Hines both suffering concussions in a SB victory over the Packers.

Then retiring.

No fairy tale ending would be complete without a dry hump.

On Defense, a blocked FG. When was the last time we saw one of those?

On Offense, nothin' much so far.

Woodley sat out a bunch of plays that last series on Defense, I hope it ain't his hammy still. We need to get some points on the board now.

Redman fighting for every extra yard on that run, and holding onto the ball like it was a sack of money. Followed up by Mendy spinning for no gain....Hmmmm.

No doubt, probably their best fantasy (and real) performance all season.  Well, there was a shutout ...

Fun game to watch; I like the fact that I no longer have to hold my breath on every kickoffnor punt, whether we're receiving or kicking.

All the right names featured, except woodley.

FUCK.  AFter the Wallace TD they switched to the friggin NYJ @ WAS game.  Bastards.

Had the same problem here. Really annoying...DirecTV turns off the satellite channel when it's broadcast locally. The least the local affiliates could do is stick with the game that they picked. It should be a league rule.

At that point of the game, the next play should have been run right at that guy and whoever was closest to him in the pile should have punched him in the throat.

Did you check the DirecTV channel after they went to a different game?  They should have turned it back on after the switch.

I have noticed a coule of times if the early game is running long, say, before the Bronco game, and they stay with it, the Bronco game will be available on the DirecTV feed even though it is the local game.  As soon as they leave the early game and go to the scheduled game, on the local network, then the DirecTV feed goes dark.

I don't have any experience in the event of switching games in the middle, but in my crazy mind, it should work the same way.  Probably waaaay too much to ask.

Most definitely.  Really expected more from the Bengals with their playoff life kinda hanging in the balance.

Peaking at the right time?

Don't ease off the accelerator with a crappy Browns team coming in on a short week.  Their remaining sked is pretty darn fluffy save for the Niners on MNF in two weeks; Browns twice and a date with the Rams before Christmas.  Two of the worst teams in the league ATM.

How the fuck did the Rams manage to beat the Saints?
