It takes a fake injury to stop the clock.

We play to the level of our competition. I don't know why this is, but it's fact.

You have got to be kidding me...

-EDIT-

The above comment was in regard to the Chiefs marching down the field on our D, not in regard to your pun above Jonzr. Just to clarify...

I'm speechless. I thought we were doomed, doomed, doomed. Looked like we were playing Baltimore out there tonight.

Escaped with a win there, only due to the total ineptitude of the KC offense.

Troy knocks himself out tackling a lineman - seriously, did he really need to go flying at the guy's legs headfirst?  HIt him midlevel and decent chance he fumbles.

Beyond words how pathetic our offense was.

Back against Cincy next week - need better performance than last time against them too.

We are in a bad way if we play that poorly against any of the remaining teams on our schedule, especially Cinci and San Fran. The Chiefs are only moderately better than the Brownies...maybe we could beat St. Louis playing like we did tonight.

I maintain that we play to the level of our competition. I think we'll be fine. Will help to have Pounce, Troy & Wood back.
Hopefully next week. Not so worried about the Browns, although we may play down to them, a la tonite.
As for the Niners.....I don't think they've played anyone. Let's remember that they're in the NFC West, and their rep in the playoffs last year had a losing record. I don't think they're anything special.

But. Bottomline is we need to be better.  I think we will be.

Well, a win is a win is a win, as they say.

I guess the game ball goes out to... ?
