Just wanted to say Dalton > Flacco.
Beware of this one.

This is not a gimme game. The Ginger QB is the real deal. Steelers better be on guard and not assume it's the same ol' Bungles. It's a road game and the Steelers are giving 3 - I wonder if that changes during the week?
Cincy split with the only two winniing teams they faced, losing to SF and beating BUF, both at home. They somehow managed to lose to Denver back in week 2. The rest of the games were wins against losing teams and the 4-4 Titans (who had a 4-3 record at the time).
They haven't lost since back to back losses to Denver and SF in weeks 2, 3.
Yup, Steelers have their work cut out for 'em this week.

I know Oakland plays on Thursday night, but I still say Palmer is good for 2 picks in this game.

Furthermore, the Steelers have yet to beat a winning team on the road. But it's the Bengals, right? Right? Anyone?

The Raiders compensation due keeps dropping. By the end of the season it'll be a 7th rounder and a one-way ticket away from Oakland. You know, b/c they want to get rid of Palmer. And send him away. From Oakland.

Steelers win, 20-19. It's a road game vs a team with a winning record, that's why I have it so close. The main advantage on paper is Roethlisberger vs Dalton.
But while Dalton has looked great so far, he is a rookie and has yet to face a defense like the Steelers. So who knows? He may continue to look like an efficient machine or Silverback might cause him to soil his football pants.
Here's to hoping for the latter.
As for the Bengals' defense, the numbers say they've been solid. Haven't seen 'em play though. Compared to the Steelers, their rush D is better, their ppg is 0.5 better, more INTs (3:2) and way more FF (12:4). So watch out Mendy.

You know, if the Steelers don't win the division then I hope the Bengals do and the Ratties have to get the other WC. Now that would be funny in my book.
Just so long as the Steelers get their third shot to take out Lewis, Suggs, Flacco, et. al.
I wanna see the look on Harbaugh's face.

If Pittsburgh was able to beat Balty last week, I would've said that they're primed for a letdown loss against the Bengals.
After giving up the game winner with :08 left, I think they come out pissed this weekend and reassert themselves. Convincing victory, but closer than it should be...something like 24-13, 27-13 or 23-10.
You know what that means...
Seriously though, it's a lose, lose situation for Pittsburgh. They win and it's not that impressive because Cincy really wasn't that good; hadn't played either Balty or Pittsburgh yet; blah, blah, blah. They lose and well, they fucking lose to the Kitties. That's never good.

Well, I think we know what the Steelers are at this point - hopefully a WC team. And maybe the Steelers game will prepare Cincy for their upcoming two against Balty. That's the dream anyways.
Yeah, if that last pass is dropped by Smith we have a completely different perception of the Steelers and yet they'd still be the same team. Funny that.
