3 points for Bal on their last drive of the 1st half.
7 points on their last drive of the 2nd half.

How the fuck don't we at least attempt the FG to go up 7 on our last possession?!
No way #6 makes that FG. I had no problem with the punt.

That said, if we can make the playoffs, the field it wide frigging open.
By the way fuck you whoever you are about refs erring on side of caution on helmet to helmet. Where was the side of caution when HInes got laid out?

It's really not that complicated. Drop guys into the zone, confuse Flacco (not hard) and allow safety to simply cover deep rather than looking for the crossing route.
LeBeau and the D have won a ton of games for Pgh. But they lost this one, flat-out lost it. They had a mulligan coming, but they picked a hell of a time to take it.
Ike is great but he lost the matchup with Boldin. I credit Flacco, but I'm still not impressed. He throws the deep lob and the dumpoff, that's about it...we just kept handing him both.
Missing Woodley hurt. I mean REALLY hurt.
And ditto on msdmnr for that BS on the helmet-to-helmet. Ray Rat better take a massive fine.

BTW, that was the second time today that I saw the refs mess up resetting the play clock. At least I think they messed it up.

Fine Ray Lewis? Has that ever happened?

That's what I said at the time. No confidence whatsoever. And since they were gonna give up the TD anyways, at least there would have been more time on the clock if the Ratties started from the 40.

I'm under the influence, and pissed off as hell, so understand the mindset....

Because Tomlin needs an in-game consultant to manage the clock.

He's got the leg. And making that kick guarantees you don't lose in regulation. I think it's chicken shit football, classic "conservative NFL coaching" there to do what they did and not try it. If it's 57 yards, you got a point. But NFL kickers are supposed to make 47 yard field goals. Their guy drilled it into the net from 50 to end the 1st half.
But going with the premise that I'm wrong..... if the plan was to kick the FG if they gained yardage, and to punt if they didn't, then why the fuck didn't they run the ball to take another 40 seconds off the clock or to force Baltimore to take their last timeout?!
They fucked this up...royally.
