A warm body, nothing more.

There are worse "warm bodies" out there, so I guess that's something.

In my roster writeup yesterday, I increased the chances of our signing a FA (including Max, Flo, or Trai) to 100%.  Ed Bouchette thought the only way we'd sign Trai was due to midseason injury, but something smelled like a comfy little Colbert move in Trai's visit.  My gut told me that with the shortened camp sched, they couldn't really get comfortable with C. Scott or K. Williams being an injury away from starting.  And the Philly game drove home the importance of a swing-man who can back up LT.

Your presumptive line is J. Scott, Kemo, Pouncey, Hills, Colon.  Backups:  Legs (C/G), Foster (G/RT), Essex (G/T), Gilbert (G/T); this might allow them to stick with 9 instead of hoping 2 youngs guys at 9 & 10 can provide backup.  Possible 10s:  Max, Flo, C. Scott, K. Williams, FA.  Might try to move one/both of the young OGs to the practice squad, and with 9 OL they could keep 4 QBs, or 6 WRs, or whatever tickles their nuts.

It's the amazing flexibility afforded us by having a jack of all trades.  Yay for us.

BTW, saw something on us extending Timmons (5/$50M), but not verified... anyone see that?

I'd still like to see us pick up Flo Adams.  Still like the idea of having another veteran on that line.
