This makes no sense...Roger "God"ell is an ass.

The last time I can find a player being fined was in October 2010 when Kevin Kolb was fined 5 K for a horse collar.

And yet Woodson gets 10k fine for throwing a punch...unfuckingbeli evable

I am really starting to believe the league has something against the Steelers.

I'm wondering if his bodyslam of Ray Rice had anything to do with the fine being higher.

Whatever, Goodell sucks but Troy just got paid a shitload so I think he can handle it.

When I first saw it, I thought he brought him down by his jersey, not by grabbing at his shoulder pads.

And, if it was in fact a horsecollar, he was penalized for it.  Conversation...over?  Don't think a horsecollar deserves a fine too.

I must've missed the memo that said this kind of penalty is now being lumped in with the "defenseless receiver" or "unsportsmanlike" conduct calls that give the league discretion to levy a fine after the fact.

TBH, I think Pittsburgh will keep quiet about this one, anyway.  I saw a lot of things from Steeler players in the second half that were kinda classless; shots to the helmet, clearing the pile after the whistle, grabbing/twisting facemasks, etc.  Balty was rubbing their faces in it, guys were getting frustrated and even a little...chippy.  They lost their cool in several instances.

Hopefully, this team uses that game as a big, motherfucking wake up call and takes it out on their remaining 15 opponents.  Delivering the beatdowns are way more enjoyable than getting them.

Brian Jackson said the entire team should be fined...

for impersonating the Pittsburgh Steelers.
