But we had to cut T Chris Scott. Oh fucking drat.
I'd start Max at RT this week on a short practice week, and keep Gilbert at LT.

Steelers bring back Max Starks
Posted by Mike Florio on October 5, 2011, 9:27 AM EDT
With the offensive line in shambles and the starting quarterback recently in a walking boot, the Pittsburgh Steelers have
re-signed a player who was a key figure in underachieving Steelers offensive lines of the recent past.
Max Starks, whom the team dumped in July, is now back on the team. The Steelers announced the move this morning.
Starks joined the Steelers as a third-round pick in the 2004 draft. He played right tackle when the Steelers beat the Seahawks in Super Bowl XL, and he played left tackle when the Steelers beat the Cardinals in Super Bowl XLIII.
After playing the 2008 season under the transition tender of $6.9 million, Starks signed a four-year, $26.9 million contract in 2009. After finishing 2010 on injured reserve, the Steelers decided to move on.
Last week, Starks worked out for the Vikings.
To create a roster spot for Starks, the Steelers cut offensive lineman Chris Scott, a fifth-round pick in 2010.

There were indications they might re-sign him, but despite the loss of Willie Colon for the season and then injuries and performances at left tackle that seemed intent to get Ben Roethlisberger maimed, the Steelers kept ignoring Starks.
Gerry seems to share our sentiments about how Pittsburgh has handled the offensive line.
Wonder what Flo is doing too?
Kinda sad that they can pull some guys off the street and they start the next week.

Kinda sad and kinda indicative of where the mess they're in right about now, lucky to be 2-2.

This is kind of a relief. Not that Starks is going to save the season, but it will definitely help.
Pretty weird nobody else has signed him up to this point.

I was thinking almost the exact same thing. Instantly relieved, even though I fully expect Max to play shitty.
Although, I personally don't think it's weird that no other team was uninterested in signed a fat unmotivated slob.

There's shitty, and then there's shitty.
I can live with Max-shitty.
I think.
Not to be confused with Maximum Grilled Shitty.
Speaking of which... aren't we nearing the time of year where the children gather round and listen to ol' uncle finny tell the tale of quitting smoking, kashi, and the midget arm?
Have I told that one before?
A tradition, like LeBeau reading Twas the Night Before Christmas...
Twas the Shite before Christmas!
Kashi all through the house
Finny's bowels were a-rumblin'
His sphincter did grouse.
The e-reader was laid by the crapper with care
While finny inspected a grey arse beard hair
When from his insides there arose such a clatter
As his bowels erupted with hot fecal matter.
Thrown from his throne, he exclaimed with alarm,
"I'm splattered all over from my feet to my arm!"

I love the Krusty sign, it makes the whole pic. Apparently most RDEs can't read.

Why would they need to? They're lined up opposite a traffic cone.
As google would say,

I guess it depends on how you're looking at it. The RDE is lined up over the LT, yes? And Krusty is the LT in this picture, professor!

As Krusty is on the far left of the line, and the line is facing forward,
ergo
Krusty is the RDE in this picture.
