Arod struck out with bases loaded one out in the seventh, and he struck out to end the game.  Unlike aj, I am looking forward to the coming media shitstorm in nyc.

I got the Tigers winnng 64-0.

Oh, I thoroughly enjoyed the A-Rod chokes.  That's how the ALCS ended last season.  Fuck the Tiggers.

Wish I could lay it all at one player's feet, but that series falls equally on the entire offense.

Don't have the numbers in front of me, but 4-6 batted something ridiculous like .109 for the series.  You know you're in trouble when you're actually looking forward to the #9 hitter to come to the plate because he's been one of the hottest hitters.

Bases loaded with less than 2 outs twice and the only run they score was on a...walk?

Love the ironing, tho.  Everybody was so caught up with their pitching deficiencies, but it was the offense that gave that series away.  Tex, ARod, Swish, Jeter, Martin, Granderson, Cano, Gardner, Posada...in that order.

Good luck to your Rangers in the ALDS, J.

Just heard a blurb that A-rod was the 1st player in MLB history to strike out to end his teams season two years in a row.

What a friggin' game.  I left for my walk about two batters before Cruz hit the slam, but did hear it on the headphones.  Those first two games were tension-filled.  Colby Lewis - their best postseason pitcher - is on the mound today.

Somehow, it's all lining up ...
