To lift an over-used phrase from Guy Fieri, Taibbi's been money. So to speak.

I don't understand why more people aren't on board with OWS. Basically, if you're not a billionaire bailout recipient, OWS is for you. WTF?

I agree that the 99% have gotten screwed. I agree with much, if not most, of what the OWS folks are saying. Anything that draws the ire of Rush Limbaugh is probably mostly good.
But I do have a problem with the methodology and certainly with some of the fringe sentiments. OK, you have the world's attention: now what? Can you field a coherent movement and even get a little political push, like the Tea Party? I doubt it. Can you work from within the system, or is this all just flash and filigree? What are some workable actions that can be implemented now?
Some folks want to crash Wall St. and capitalism completely. Hey, there's the motherfucking answer! The banksters crash the system and the hard-working people of the 99% see their retirement accounts get chopped in half. Then they get to see Uncle Sam bail out the fuckers with our tax dollars. But the way to make it all better for the 99% is to get rid of the part of our investments that didn't get sucked out? That's great, I can't wait to be working at motherfucking Wal-Mart when I'm fucking 90 years old so I can eat Chinese beans out of a can for dinner.
It is interesting to see that the US actually has grass-roots movements, both the TP and OWS. There are intersections and divergences between the two, but at least some complacency has been shattered. Of course, IMO the TP was completely derailed by the influence of Armey and the Koch Bastards, and OWS will either fizzle out or be co-opted in a similar way.
