Edit:  So, he gets 40K because he's a repeat offender?  Please tell me they're not saying this is Lewis' first offense.

I didn't take it that way.  I took it as evidence that no one actuallys knows WTF the league will fine you for, even the league, until they fine you.  I took it as another implication of the arbitrariness of Goodell.

In related news, Rodge is fining Penso $37 for saying that Thee Almighty Goodell 'Imself is arbitrary.  There's really no legal basis for Rodge to start fining posters, but he's considered expanding into uncharted territory for a while now. 

Penso can appeal of course.  To Rodge.
