The Steelers wanted Jarvis Jones to get stronger, and their first-round draft pick in 2013 said he has done just that. But he has not gotten bigger. He weighs 245 pounds, just like he did last season.

Just exactly how does someone like Jones get stronger without gaining pound?  Added muscle and reduced some baby fat?

You can gain strength without gaining weight.  If he's 242 now, that should be fine, but if he was 242 last year, I'll eat my hat.  Dude looked like he never lifted a weight in his life.

Not worth its own thread, slapping it here:

Shaq Riachardson signs, none of the R1-4 guys have yet, assuming they will post-6/1 when money is freed up.

Also, released OG Nik Embernate, who was IR'd last year and IMO was a nasty UDFA guy who could make the roster.  Think I read he was still a little gimpy, and with Johnson on board and Pouncey healthy, he was expendable.  Too bad.

A few other UDFA shufflings, nothing to note.

We keep bringing players back into the coaching fold:  Lake, Olsavsky, Porter...

It's high damned time we hire Jerome Bettis as team nutritionist!
