Only caught the beginning of this discussion this morning on Mike & Mike.  Thought it was an interesting one.  They were talking about which QBs would represent from the AFC.  The first two were obvious -- Brady, Roethlisberger -- but after that, who's next?

Shaub would've been a shoe-in if he wasn't IR'd.  He might've even been the starter.  Fitzpatrick was on track early, but he's really fizzled lately; maybe a late season resurgence gets him the nod.  Rivers is having a down year and even with some OK numbers and the soft field, he doesn't deserve it, IMO.  He's a big reason why they've only won 3 games.  Don't think you can get in when your TD/INT ratio isn't even 1:1.

Who's left?

Palmer?

Flacco?

Dalton?

Sanchez??

Tebow??!!

I dunno. 

I keep waffling between Flacco and Palmer, but then I go back to Fitzpatrick...maybe Rivers does deserve it because of all the injuries they've had and the losses they've fought on offense.  Also, if Dalton leads his team to a playoff spot, shouldn't he get serious consideration?  As crappy as I think he is, I guess you could say the same about Sanchez too.

I know it doesn't really matter because in the end, after everyone graciously accepts the nomination and declines, the starter will likely be Tim "TIMMAY!" Tebow with Gabbert and McCoy backing him up. 

I thought it an interesting discussion nonetheless...
