I am beginning to wonder about Wallace long-term, as he totally lacks a physical element in his game.

If the ball is on the money, dude can make plays. If the ball is off the mark, he simply walks away from the play not making any effort to come back to a ball or break up a pick.

Exactly right.

As for the defensive performance, give credit where it's due. Tebow made some beautiful throws, plain and simple. LeBeau and Tomlin underestimated him, or couldn't figure out how to contain the Denver running game without conceding safety help deep, daring Tebow to beat them deep. Beating Denver means shutting down their running game and forcing Tebow to read coverages and play dink-and-dunk -- these are difficult to do at the same time.

I think overall this has to be the most unsatisfying 12-4 team in history. The Steelers piled up so many wins because the schedule, and some luck, gave them opportunities to face Painter, Gabbert, Palko, Clemens, Tavaris Jackson, Kolb, and Seneca Wallace. When Andy Dalton and Matt Hasselbeck are the 3rd and 4th best QBs you've faced all year, your record, and your numbers, are going to be inflated.

I give the team a lot of credit for fighting through a lot of injuries, a shitload of officiating stacked against them, and some of the worst offensive line play I've ever seen, to put themselves in the tournament. But in a way, I'm glad this crazy, nutty season is over and everybody who's important can spend a few weeks regaining their health instead of risking seriously career-altering injuries.

Saw Ben on Halloween (pre-Milledgeville)

Having a scamper-y running back who can catch dump-offs and get some YAC wouldn't hurt, either.

Would love, love, love this.  But quite honestly, Arians and/or Ben have not gotten the memo that RBs are viable receivers.  Never have.  Never will.  So talk about a player that would be underutilized (in favor of the shotty WR screen that I have been bitching about for the last three seasons).

IMO they need to draft some cobo of these positions:
DT
OT
ILB
G
WR
S
DE
Maybe not in this order, but this is how I rank their needs.

Sick to death over this. But really as banged up as we were I did not expect us to win the SB.  Plus we move up a few spots in the draft and the Brinker dogs will not have to keep running into the closet during Steeler games.

Who do we cut?

Player - Cap hit 2012
Ward - 4.61 Mil (this hurts, but so is the NFL)
Aaron Smith 4.5 Mil
Farrior - 3.825 Mil
Foote - 3.6 Mil
McFadden - 2.66 Mil

Don't get crazy.  They're just starting to figure out the TE is allowed to catch passes.  Now you want the RB too?

Great job Preach.  Gotta agree with that, except I don'[t recall Titans '02 (maybe still in coma from '01 loss), so would put Jax #4.  I think the '97 Broncos maybe?  It was one of the Kordell years.
