Hit the casino for a few poker tourneys this past weekend. Sported my Steeler hoodie and got a bunch of "sucks the way they went out" and "rough loss, but there were just so many injuries" blah, blah, blah, type comments.
Being on the other side of the state and closer to Mass., several were from Bahh-stin fans (omg, the accent just gets on my MF nerves). My response was generally something like, "I don't know who was happier, Bronco fans or Patriot fans." Not a single one of them disagreed.
"We had 'em! But, we let 'em off the hook."

Glen Quagmire: WHOA! Transvestite! Back off! Wait a sec, pre-op or post-op?
Transvetite: Pre-op.

On the bright side, we lost the battle but may have won the war. Broncos FO is now in the unenviable position of having to stick with their shitty 100%-voiced
RB
QB because of all the blah blah blah just goes out and wins blah blah. Elway will tutor him on how to find the zip code of his receiver, and the best the FO can do is gamble on a mid- or late round developmental QB. So when 2012 season gets swinging and Tebow, uh, sucks, the Donkeys will be a couple years behind the curve of getting a guy who can be an NFL QB and having him ready to play.
We lost in a postseason that we were doomed to lose in sooner or later due to injuries. Nightmare way to go out, but at least our program won't be dealing with a QB conundrum for the foreseeable future.
