Steelers can beat Denver with Batch

Rest Ben.  If there's any hope for wins beyond Denver, you need a healthy Ben.  LeBeau's Boys will feast on Denver.  So long as the offense limits mistakes and squeaks out 13 pts or so, there should be no way the Broncos win.  Don't let their defense score and don't give Tebow a 25 yard field.  Batch can get it done.  Let Ben have a bye week, he'll be glad he had it against the Patsies.

Plenty of Redman and Clay and BAtch to AB, Wallace, Miller, Cotchery, Ward, et. al.  That's enough to get it done.

Let Tebow take off and get slammed to the turf a few times by Timmons.  I bet Polamalu can't wait to pick off one of those ducks.

We should be able to beat Denver with anything Brinker rescues on his way home from work.
And if the defense put together an effort we've not seen for some time, we might even have a puncher's chance with Batch against the New England defense.

But against the Ravens, we need BR. And I don't know which would hurt us more...beat up or rusty?

If he played last week, he's playin' this week.  They had their chance to rest him and they blew it.  Now, they've gotta ride it out in his current state, hope he's an exceptionally fast healer and that he doesn't reaggravate the injury along the way.

This is a game that could be over at halftime and I never say that about Steelers games.

Not that Tomlin would pull him, but something like 24-3 at the half and it wouldn't be a bad idea to get Charlie some snaps.

With the Ravens' D at home, we may need to get Dixon some snaps too.

And of course Ben had a setback of the HAS in Cleveland, meaning either a) he's playing up the gimpiness to lull Denver into a false sense of security, or b) we should fucking well start Batch and won't.  Hell, Charlie might as well go to Hawaii and catch some waves for all the action he'll see Sunday, except that would be useless too, since Charlie don't surf.

I'd rather see Harrison body-slam Tebow like he did McCord but I do want him in for all the games.

Much as it would be nice to rest him, I do agree with one thing Ben said before last week.  He needs to play to stay sharp.  Every time he misses a game it seems like he sucks the next one.
