Dodged a bullet there. Or I guess you could say the Ravens took a bullet.

A source told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that Caldwell was not offered the position as offensive coordinator.

Haley certainly makes more sence than Caldwell. Not a lot, zero, sucess as head coach but seemed to do well in Zona.

I hope Haley gets it. Seems like he was a good OC in AZ. He had a vet QB in Warner and he'll have another in Ben. Hopefully the first order of business will be to bury the gawd awful WR bunch/screen play. Second order of business, get Ben into the facility to practice taking snaps and throwing the ball soon has his back foot steps 3. Third, shock collar for Mendy, activated when his back turns towards the line of scrimmage.
It's a start.

Haley seems like a first class dick, and will probably rub Tomlin the wrong way, so I still expect Fichtner, and hope he's not just BA2.
But Haley did have an ace pass attack in Zona and a good ground game in KC. He'd also add some fire that many folks feel is missing from the coaching staff.

Guess he finally got on board.
In other news,
Dulac says
Haley not a likely choice but doesn't say why.
