I voted Haley with supremely limited conviction. No Clements. Fichtner too much of the same. Todd Haley is the pick here.

To me, all those guys are meh, as the kids say nowadays.  I'm still hoping for a surprise candidate.

As I said the day Arians was canned, from the outside, my leading candidate is Clements.  He's coached Favre and/or Rodgers for the last 6 or 7 years.  Those are some pretty prolific offenses.  Gotta think he's learned a thing or two in that timeframe and can apply it to #7.

Well, moot point now, with Clements installed as GB's OC.

Fichtner and Tomlin coached together at Arkansas St. for a year, IIRC, around 98-2000.  They both coached at Memphis, though not at the same time.  Fichtner took over WRs after BA got promoted, and then became QB coach after Anderson left, so you know Ben probably wants him.  I just don't see Tomlin going outside the box on this one.

Is it Tomlin's choice to make?

Well, true.  Kind of like in marriage, when guys think they're making the choice that the wives have already decided.  Tricky that way.  But who would AR2 and Colbert want?  Well, Colbert, maybe Herman Cain.  Herman Cain for OC!
