Pens at the deadline

Seems to me Shero ought to have two priorities:
1. Dump Martin for a guy who can eat PK minutes.
2. Acquire a serviceable backup to Fleury.

They have that Goalie Amber-Theiessen in the minors. They need Crosby back.

I'd rather get a guy with veteran experience than bring Thiessen up. Rent a guy this year and then let Thiessen start 12-13 on the roster.

Totally agree. From what I have seen, Martin has looked terrible this year.

They should highly consider PUP'ing Crosby and using whatever is left of his prorated salary to bring in some more offensive help and a stay at home defenseman type. Then if he's healthy for the playoffs they can bring him back in the playoffs when the cap doesn't matter. This is assuming they think he won't be back before the playoffs and assuming they are going to make it without him.
