Great show last night. We had GA standing tickets on the floor probably about 30 people deep with at least twice that behind us. The pot chimney about 6 people up to the left probably stoned everyone w/in a 3' radius. You know, one of these days I'll have to work on writing proper descriptions of these events.
Radiohead have added a drummer for the tour and the percussion-heavy set put him to use. Vocalist Thom Yorke was in wonderful form, his voice ethereal as ever, his presence belying his diminutive stature. One moment he's focused on delivering the vocals and the next he's jumping, dancing, herky-jerky, arms flailing, bouncing around the stage. The front stage consisted of Yorke (center) with the two (multi-instrumental) guitarists to either side. The drummers flanked the rear stage with the bassist between, seemingly shrinking behind Yorke.
It seemed like a diverse crowd with people ranging in age from 15-50 or thereabouts. My wife asked if only weird people listened to Radiohead if that gives you an idea. Looked like a normal rock crowd to me.
Here are a few shots of the show.
