That's surprising.  Not as much as when Denver spent a 1st rounder on him but still.  The Jests are stoopid.

Guess they figure if Sanchez sucks, they can put Tebrow in and let him suck.

As a resident of NYC, I could not possibly put into words how much this shit cracks me up.  Rex Ryan, Tennenbaum, Woody Johnson, who TF ever was responsible for this should be out of a job for good.  The last thing the Jets needed was another distraction, and Tebow is nothing if not a distraction.  It's like they thought, "Well, we missed out on Peyton.  Who's the next best qb...  I know... Tebow!"

Heard some good one-liners this morning.

The Broncos sacrificed a virgin to get Peyton Manning.

Rex Ryan loves Tim Tebow. He is a fresh young talent. He can heal the toxic locker room with his calming voice. Lastly, he has GREAT feet.

Tim Tebow to the Jets! Now that he is in New York Tebow can work on his bounce passes with Jeremy Lin!

Tebow prayed for a Broncos Super Bowl, and Jesus answered by putting Peyton Manning on the team. The Lord works in mysterious ways!

Oh sure, now Jesus comes to the Jets.
Stuart Scott and Ines Sainz think it's a little too late.

I'm still trying to figure out why Ron Jeremy would want to have Jesus as his QB.

The Tim...Tim...Timmay! fanfare is already getting out of control.

Just happened to have the 11 o'clock news on in the background last night and what do you think was the lead story?

C'mon.  Really?  I mean...really/?  That's your number 1?  Teblow landing at JFK on his [what looked like...personal??] jet.  With the way the media was covering it, I didn't know if they were filming a reinactment of the OJ pursuit or just showing highlights Favre's landing in Minnesota.  Tons of buzz surrounding his presser announcing his signing too.

Wat?  Excuse me?

What the fuck is wrong with everybody?  I'm being totally serious here.  I'm not looking at this as a football fan.  Let's focus on this from the perspective of the fucking species here, K?

HE'S A MOTHERFUCKING BACKUP QUARTERBACK THAT SINGED WITH A TEAM THAT DIDN'T EVEN MAKE THE PLAYOFFS LAST YEAR!!

WHO...FUCKING...CARES!!!!

Jets singed Laron Landry (compared to all of their other moves, that one's the best they've made by far, AINEC.  You see that dude lately?  A monster.) this past week too.  Where was his press conference?

The only winner so far in this whole debacle is Drew Stanton.  Singed up to be the backup QB; was told he's the guy; got a 500k singing bonus; and now wants out because of how management misled him.  Considering everything that's occurred, I gotta think he gets his wish.  I'm sure he appreciates the 500k donation, tho.

Finally, why do I care so much?  I don't give two shits about the Jets and I'm going to thoroughly enjoy having a ringside seat to their implosion this year (if they miss the playoffs, this is going to be Ryan's last year, just watch), but it still bothers the shit out of me to see...humans behaving so...stupidly.

I don't think the Internets has enough facepalm pics to adequately convey my disgust, so I'll have to just settle for a standby...
