I still think it is going to be either O-line or D-line...

Not sure if all the Mike Adams talk leading up to the draft was smokescreen or not, but based on that alone I would say if Adams is there they will take him.

Love is in the air.

Anyhow.

The FO tends to fixate on "their guy," sometimes that's good, sometimes not.  My impression was that Hightower was their guy and would have been the pick if not for DDC miracling his ass to 24.  Similarly, get the idea that they're fixated on RB Isaiah Pead and QB Kirk Cousins, so don't be surprised if it's Pead, Cousins goes off before R3, and then they do some fucking shite piece of draft douchery like taking TE Michael Egnew as the brand new Matt "Waste of" Spaeth.  Seriously, we can't knock it out every round, right?  Don't know why I'm being so negative right now, but I'm expecting at least one head-scratcher.

SHOULD make a run at the OL/DL value, but will they?

I would be fine with Brandon Brooks.

Just going off the Finny's Guides, these are my R2 eval players.

OT Bobby Massie, Ole Miss
ILB Bobby Wagner, Utah St.
S Brandon Taylor, LSU
OG Brandon Brooks, Miami (OH)
OG/OT Keleche Osemele, Iowa St.
S Lavonte David, Nebraska
RB Chris Polk, Washington
ILB  Mychal Kendricks, Cal
RB Robert Turbin, Utah St.
OG Cordy Glenn, Georgia
OT Jonathan Martin, Stanford

That's 11, not including WR/TE or DE/OLB.

Quite sure I could come up with close to enough to get us to 2.56.  And the more I look at that list, the more I would push the 2x S down a bit, and push Turbin up.  Turbin is fucking rocked, definitely similar frame and speed to Richardson and Martin.

Super fast R2 WR adds:

Stephen Hill, Georgia Tech - Demaryius Thomas clone.
Alshon Jeffery, South Carolina - some weight/softness concerns, but some Anquan Bolden traits
Reuben Randle, LSU - yet another in a cluster of big, but not terribly fast, WRs; good fit at flanker, good run blocker
Mo Sanu, Rutgers - see Randle

Probably a better cluster of big WRs R3 and possibly 4.  Probably would wait till then (McNutt, Childs, Quick, Criner, Toon), plus Hilton, Broyles and Givens.

TE in R2 is only Fleener, and he's off early.

Some very good DE prospects late R2.

Thought his "man hug" with Floyd looked awkwardly long too.  Was waiting for a Mendenhall dry hump.

Upshaw to the Ravens. Pretty good pick.

Mitchell Schwartz? Or someone to the Browns. Brian Quick just texted me that's an unathletic sounding name.

Dirty Dawson, Hall of Fame center, will read the pick for the Steelers.

I fully expect former Redskin great Dexter Manley to read off their pick.

OL is coming off the board quick.

40 Carolina Amini Silatolu OG
41 Buffalo  Cordy Glenn OT
42 Miami Jonathan Martin OT

and the Jets traded up for Stephen Hill.  Watch out Stonio.
