Good article on Batch.

Quote
The Chiefs had a running back finish with at least 40 receptions in each of Haley’s two-plus seasons at the helm. [...] A positive development for Batch, who caught 143 passes in the Red Raiders’ trigger-happy offense.

GOD BELSS CHARELIE BATSCH!!!!!11111111111!!!!!!!!!!!!

One thing worth noting is that Batch is a solid blocker, he'll be important on passing downs - if teams don't send a pass rusher he's a nice checkdown option.  He's not as explosive as Rainey, but I think he can replace MeMo.

If either of the Batch bros make the team and contribute I will be shocked.

Who breaks into QB3?  Troy Smith?  Seriously?  Jerrod Johnson???

What's our RB depth to start the season if Batch doesn't crack it?  Redman... Dwyer?  MeMo?  Clay?  Rainey.  I have to think Dwyer/Batch is as likely as any combo of the names between Redman and Rainey.

They'll make the team.  Contribute... maybe a few snaps for Baron.

Scratch MeMo.  Guess Arians is turning the Clots into the Steelers Midwest.

Tomlin/BA's utility RB is gone, Batch's chances of making the cut just went up.
