Of course there's Amazon and their extended 3rd party marketplace.  Good for maintaining a wishlist, etc.

Another good one is hpb.com. 

A great book search engine is bookfinder.com, that's where I found coasbooks.com which offers free standard shipping.  Will let you know how that goes.

He loves them.  Just got one I'm sure he'd like, The Art of Fermentation.  I'm gonna start rotting all kinds of stuff.  Well, I've already been rotting stuff but now I'm gonna do it on purpose and then eat it.

Actually, I was going to get Katz's other book on fermentation; I've done some fermented kraut, kim chi, and pickles.  It's actually good for your gut biome.

Course, if jonzr's recommending this book...   Undecided
