I think this sets up perfectly for a trap game, coming off the Giants win and looking ahead to facing the Ratbirds. That would be most embarrasing.

I wouldn't say I've been *missing* it, Bob.

Fortunately, it's a home game. But yeah, I hope Tomlin reminds them of same.

So, #34 is starting on MNF?
If he looks good, who gets the start at RB against Baltimore?

I presume he is going to be pretty rusty, so the Chefs is a perfect "re-entry" game for him. If he looks fresh-n-speedy Monday, i don't see a problem with him facing the Ravens. If he does his all too often dance at the los, vs the Chefs, then I say start Dwyer against the Ratbirds.
I'm glad I'm not Tomlin. I would stick with what's working, which is Dwyer. I like some of the Bus like plays he had with guys bouncing off of him. Redman was bustin up some guys too.
Maybe they need to get RM up to speed and shop him around for picks er whateva.
EDIT - He's unrestricted FA at end of season.

Everything I've been reading indicates Mendenhall might sit this one.

Ah yes, the professor may be correct.
I saw a tweet with the headline from this story, but never actually clicked on it.

Be surprised if Mendenhall is a go. Will it be Redman or Dwyer? Inquiring fantasy minds wanna know.
In two weeks, Pittsburgh has gone from "an underachieving bunch," "past their prime," etc., etc. to "one of the teams to beat in the AFC."

On Haley: “Right now, he’s playing to our strengths,” Redman said. “He’s not stuck in his ways. When things weren’t working in the beginning of the season, he went ahead and started using the runs we used last year. So he’s not opposed to changing what he does to make our team better. I feel like that’s what’s making us a better team right now.”
