The first of two games against the Ratties within three weeks. Things are interesting by now or heads are hiding under pillows across the land.

Byron BumbleBee Leftwich, you must bring it Sunday night!
Wouldn't hurt for the D to play their best game of the year and also rack up 200 yds. on the ground.

One week should be plenty of time for BFL to learn how to speed up his delivery.

Ravens will play against the deep ball and force Lefty to get the underneath stuff. Since his delivery takes about 14 seconds, they should have ample time to make adjustments and break on the ball. Lots of 3rd and longs, meaning lots of pressure. This seems to be heading in a good direction: two old, immobile, fragile backups... I'm envisioning the chipper scene from Fargo. Just skip the 1st team reps with Lefty and get Heat his reps at QB.
This is why I can't get too fucking roller-coastered up with this team this year. Shut down that Chiefs game and went to bed, deleted it without watching the 2H. Cuz seriously, why.
And what the fuck is up with Polamalu? Betting Tomlin wants to see if we can get a WC spot without him, save him for the last 5-6 games (including playoffs) because that's about his annual max any more. But fuck, let's not dare DRAFT any QB or S backups, that shit would be fucking stoopid.
At least we have the "playing to the level of" thing going for us. If you still believe the Ravens are a good team, we should play a good game. Sounds more like we're going to play mediocre, just a question of who can out-mediocre the other guy. We have our excuses lined up, starting with Ben. Good change I won't see the 2H of this one either. Wake me if we get a WC spot. Maybe we can lose the opener on the road to Arians! Almost as sweet as losing to Tim "Chump Change" Tebow! Yass! Rulz! Pwned! Ermahgerd!

My expectations have completely evaporated with this team, which is a blessing in disguise as I am swamped with work shit and need sundays and monday nights anyway. Not saying I won't watch-- I will, I'm a junky that way-- but at least I won't be spending 8 or 12 hours at the bar on sundays waiting for each game to track leads and playoff implications.
It's almost as if Ben gave his shoulder to save my liver.

Alright, I'll take the Steelers in this one. If for no other reason than to kill Penso.
Give me a day and I'll give you the final score too.

You're prolly not a donor candidate anyway, what with the hepatitis and all.

Wrong Canadian. You're thinking of Pam Anderson.

Whatever. You all look alike to me. You're lucky I didn't vote for the self-deportation ticket.

So, um, uuuuuuh... how are the Steelers giving 3.5? Wait, that's the ESPN pick em, on Yahoo it flopped and they’re 3.5 dogs. Either way, let's just hope Rice doesn't go for 200 on them.
