Pathetic ending. I kind of thought they should have brought Batch in for the hurry up at the end. Not only is Batch able to get rid of the ball easier, it was clear that Leftwich was too hurt to throw (looks like he actually had Gilreath open deep on that last 3rd down).

If Leftwich knew he couldn't throw the deep ball, why the fuck didn't he take himself out?

Leftwich blows.  I don't care if he was hurt or not.  Dixon was batter IIRC.

What a shitty ending.

On another note, the disdain Collinsworth has for Leftwich's pansyness ('really uncomfortable') is hilarious.

Wasted pretty damn good defensive performance, although no turnovers forced.

BFL did what he could, but if he can't stay healthy for more than 5 plays, time to look for some younger backups.  With good ribs he makes the play of the year with a 70 yard TD against a prevent.

Not high on Wallace at all at this point.

We're still playoff caliber; gonna depend on what our health is like in late December.

Yeah, Wallace's best contribution tonight was a running as a decoy to get the first Pass Interference call.

It's official. I'm tired of Mendenhall. He gets absolutely nothing after first contact with a defender. It sucks.

Mendenhall is useless. Up on his toes, spinning, goes backwards all the time.

No excuse for Wallace not getting his left foot down in the EZ.

No idea why Tomlin was even giving #34 carries after a certain point. And, of course, leave Leftwich in when he's wincing after every throw and can't get the ball on Target.

Basically I agree with everything that has been said.

It's pretty amazing that everyone on this board can assess the negatives so uniformly but a lot of these asinine mistakes go on seemingly unnoticed by the coaching staff or the organization.

And somehow we still outplay the league year in and year out.  Blows my mind really.

Dwyer - 15 touches (12 rush, 3 rec), 81 yards - probably half of that was YAC

Mendy - 14 touches (11 rush, 3 rec), 50 yards - no YAC that I can recall, and damn near screwed up the one short yardage first down he got by dancing.

Note to Tomlin - splitting carries is fine for Pop Warner.  With the big boys, top producer needs the rock 75%+.
