BR's injury clarifies offseason needs that I wouldn't have expected.

WE need to let walk: Mendenhall, Wallace, Leftwich, Batch.

We are set at: Offensive line, defensive line (excepting possibly NT), and, mostly, CB.

I think our wide receiver corps is a little bit overrated, and we need a big target to complement the speed of Brown and Sanders. Sanders and Wallace just can't make plays in traffic, and while Brown is better at it, he's kind of the same mold. We need a reliable move-the-chains receiver, and it wouldn't bother me if we used a first-round draft pick on this.

A RB who can get outside and is a bit bigger than Rainey, to pair with Dwyer, is needed. Another TE to go with Miller is long overdue as well.

Add some linebackers who can rush the passer, and we can get there. A veteran signing at S or LB could help us.

We need youth on defense, but frankly I think our offensive skill positions are a higher priority. I've become convinced that LeBeau and Tomlin can take a random assortment of 11 NFL players and coach them up to a #1 NFL defense.

And that was a fumble but we have to timeouts to challenge.  That's ironic as hell.

For all the times we have taken timeouts into the half or left them on the table at the end of the game...we don't have one sitting around to challenge that.

challenge, shmallenge. Unless the D was going to return it to the house, it wouldn't have helped us. Our offense, with the personnel we have available, can't do shit.

All things considered I think the D played well.  When you score 7 on D and only give up 3 not after turnovers hard to complain too much, except for missing a couple TO opportunities themselves.  Ike had yet another pick 6 clang off his hands.

Can't ask any defense to make up for seven turnovers.

Point taken.  And I don't blame coaching staff because Batch apparently doesn't have the arm to carry off most of our plays.  And again, the turnovers aren't on them.
