The late game in Dallas.  This is generally a good time to play the 'boys, their December swoon.  But if that's not happening, could be a tough one.

First, I thought that the Ravens win signaled the beginning of the Steelers getting healthy and building momentum: go 3 of 4, get a WC.

Then we lose to SD.  OK, that was ugly.  But still, win out or even go 9-7 with one of the 2 wins being against Cinci, we back in.

Dez hurts his hand.  Steelers should come out pissed.  All's right, right?

Well, 'cept that Ike injury.  I'll give Allen and Brown a bad game, and hope they can bring their play "above the line" the next time out.  But then I hear that Allen and Lewis both have hip flexors, Allen prolly won't play, and that means substantial playing time for Josh Victorian and Dick van Dyke.

So all Romo has to do is spread the ball around and pick on JV and DvD and we're screwed.  Same with the Bengals.

I think we lose this, and may even be lucky to scrape to 8-8.

Prove me wrong, boys.

Hate to put my eggs in that basket, but didn't the Raiders just release Ron Bartell?

At least he's experienced and is "starter quality."

One thing in the Steelers' favor is they're coming off a loss and the wildly inconsistent 'Boys are coming off a win.  That and the 'Boys have been awful in Dec the last few years.

Here's to a 31-19 Steelers win!  Yay!  Let's screw up that mid-round pick!

Keenan practiced yesterday, Cortez did not.

Looks like Brown and the other guys (DVD, Victorian) will have to get 'er done.   Line up Lewis in man on Bryant, Brown w/ help on Austin, keep Troy near Witten, and get the fuck to Romo.

Probably because he is not fit to run one of these shitty slip and wide receiver screens we insist on calling.

This is awful.  Defense is getting pushed around, 'Girls are marching up and down the field.  The offense can't do jack shit.

Please, please, Ben, don't throw another pass to #17, it's a waste of a down.

Nice return by AB.

Man, anyone seen that CAR @ SD score?  31-0 Panthers in the 3rd.  Kinda makes ya sick.  Ratties lost today.  Sigh.

A score here would be sweet, really take some air out of the pace.

What in the fuck was that?  1st down an midfield and you go 3 and out?  That pass at the feet of Dwyer on 3rd and 5!?  Jebus, there was nobody out there.  What now, Ben playing with broken fingers or something?

If the defense could tackle, most of these Cowboys drives would be 3 and out.

Fuck.  About four fucks back.

AB fumble when we had chance to put game away.

Calling timeout after sack on 2nd and 18.  Run some clock if you get good gain on second then you can call timeout.

Brown running OOB on 3rd and forever.

Terrible punt coverage.

Someone needs to kick Antonio Brown's ass...Fucking mental midget, fumbling, no awareness havin', punt misjudging, out of bounds running mother fucker. We win with little trouble if not for that fucking fumble. Horrible, lofty, slow pass by BB there for the pick, but this loss happened when AB dropped the fucking rock.

+1 to that Pain.

Couldn't believe when that stupid dipshit fumbled AGAIN.

And was anyone else pissed at the piss poor effort by Wallace on the INT in OT? He just stood watching the DB roll over stand up and start running. Then he pulled up when he started to come up to the guy. Wouldn't want to get hurt during this contract year.

But hey, we're the #1 defense!

I see Carolina edged that quality squad that crushed us last week.

But they'll be ready next week.

The fucking Ravens may just lose their last 5 and still win the division.

Brain was a bonehead today.  This WR trio have been underwhelming for some time

I hope Troy retires at the end of the season.  One of the best but he needs to get out while his brain is intact and he is no longer the impact player.  One of a kind though

As much as I am okay with Mendenhall leaving, Dwyer nor Redman are the answer

The pass rush is nonexistent.  Woodley must be out of shape something bad...always looks like he is in pain after a play.  Harrison is done and I cannot understand why they put him out in coverage as often as they do.  I didn't notice Worilds

Either that or coach him...

AB's cluelessness (the mental errors you mentioned above; not kicking the ball out of the end zone last week; etc.) is a microcosm of the overall team's cluelessness and lack of discipline.

The lack of winning the turnover battle has gone on for almost two years.  The D can't create them and the O can't stop handing it over

They're gonna have to start drafting smarter players.  It doesn't matter how talented they are, in the end their stupidity will shine through.

I'd be alot more upset if I didn't already know heading into this game that we aren't very good.

True dat.  I'm so glad to have not wasted hours on the blog writing about this shitty excuse for a football team.  There's been enough verbiage spilled over these mediocre fucks.

7-9 lands us a sweet draft spot.

I liked the crisp execution with half a minute to go in the game to possibly get us into position for a long FG.  Nice effort.

Was it the guy who had no arms?  Just assuming that since he never used arms to wrap anyone.  Just banged into 'em like head-on-a-pillow.

And isn't that Rainey dude supposed to be fast? That one 3rd down run, I'm thinking he's got this easy. Nope.

And he seems to run his KO returns at about 60%.

Maybe Arians is some sort of idiot Jedi, and was telling Haley what plays to call.  It was very BA-like to have Heat light up the defense for 2 quarters, then completely abandon calling his number for 2 quarters.

Geezus, I can't believe the Steelers din't beat the Cowboys.

Maybe DEM CHEEPE AZZD ROMNEYZ will beg the Whiz to come back as O coordinator when he gets fired from AZ.
