Sumbitch, they keep converting on 3rd and long like crazy.  The defense is so frustrating.  But, they'll eventually get the stop or a turnover the way it's been going.  Still say it's on the offense to win this game, the D has done their part.

I can't remember such an anemic offensive performance.  Other than one defensive breakdown at end of first half, we got absolutely nothing.

Ben lost his fire somewhere.  Hope he can find it in the offseason.

For the last 8 years, if we had to get 30 yards in 3 minutes for a game winning FG, I would have said "no problem."  I honestly didn't feel we could get there, and we didn't.

AS noted, bad decision to kick FG there.  2 time outs left; punt it, and Cincy will be fairly conservative.  We might get a chance with a minute left.  Instead we give them good field position. D holds again, but horrible throw by Ben (Wallace was open) cost us another game.

Ben probably cost us 2 games this year, coaching staff a couple, Team turnovers one (Cleveland).

Stupid call for the Bengals to try the 50+ yard FG and same for Steelers. Anyone who tries one from that distance at Heinz better have a guy that can routinely hit from 60 or being doing it on the last play of the game. Tomlin may have thought we had just as good a chance from 56 as we did in OT. Hard to argue that.
