At one point in the 1H Beardy had a statline of 38 yards passing and 2 INTs.

Didn't see any of this - Cards D that good, or did the Pats just shit the bed?

Anyway, thanks to Coach Whiz for part of a Steelers NFL trifecta (w/ Iggles over Rats and Steelers over Jets).  Wonnerful.

Between Pats, Skins, Cowgirls and Raiders, we lost 1800+.

After two weeks there are five 2-0 teams remaining.  The Cards are one of them!

(Denver or Atlanta will make it six tonight.)

Clearly, Kraft didn't.

I hadn't realized the ending was so eventful. Makes it hurt that much worse, doesn't it Beardy?  Hehehe.

Quote
New England had come back from down 20-9 in the fourth quarter to have an opportunity to tie the game on a two-point conversion. Their attempt failed, leaving them down 20-18. Even after allowing the Cardinals to convert a fourth down with under two minutes left in the game, New England got another shot at victory when Brandon Spikes forced Ryan Williams to fumble on a 3rd and 13 play with 1:01 left.

The Pats recovered and then scored two plays later on a run by Danny Woodhead, but the play was called back because of a holding penalty on Rob Gronkowski. New England eventually set up for a 42-yard field goal that would have given them a 21-20 lead, but Stephen Gostkowski hooked it wide left. They lost 20-18, leaving everyone stunned on their sideline, including Kraft, who had that shocked expression.

Eagles.

Nine turnovers...in two games.

And they're still 2-0.

Weird.

Tons of talent, no consistency, like old dynamite:  who knows when they'll go boom.  I know "any given Sunday," but this team could beat any team, or be beaten by any team.  In a way, sort of antithetical to the early 2000s Reid teams.

Loved many things about this game.  One of the favorites was when Cards got first down late, announcers mentioned fans leaving stadium.  Then, after the fumble, they show people running back in.  Topped off with the missed FG, so it was a double screw you to Patsie fans.

I count three screw you's:

1.  You left early.
2.  You came back.
3.  You wish you really had left early.

True.  I hadn't thought of coming back as a screw you, but you know if that kick is good those bastards would have claimed they were there the whole time, had a feeling something would happen, waited in line to blow Brady afterwards, yada yada yada.

Exactly.  Now they have to admit they came back to see it.

I think this game should retroactively be dubbed "Adam Vinatieri Appreciation Night".
