So, is it like a snow day?  People staying home from work and school?

Everything has pretty much come to a skreeching halt.

Now we just get to hang out and see if the power goes out.  Wish I had the funds for a backup generator.  Prospect of another 5-7 day (or worse) power outage sucks sweaty balls.

Yeah, depending on the weather it's either sweaty balls or moist, fungal balls.  Maybe frozen balls?

In Philly on 26th floor of apt, windows are closed but somehow the wind is so fierce the blinds are shaking. Must be window insulation problem, but still it has been a nonissue for years.

Sounds like a train (metro train) behind my place.  Had to go in to the hospital this AM for work.  No clue whether I can get in there tomorrow.  At best, it takes me an hour to get to work in DC.  Was a crazy drive home with 8 firetrucks and 4 ambulances headed down I-270 towards DC.  It is the coldest hurricane, trop storm, or trop depression I have ever been in.
