I was impressed with LeCharles. Guess it took him a while to get into the groove, and of course not having a dozen fumbles helps too.
I'm inclined to agree, but would put Ben as QB2 and would consider having him go in in 2H or 4Q if needed.
Torn on this. Ready to see Ben, but I am actually buying the story that this injury was more serious and dangerous, in spite of Ben's usual injury dramatics.
If the REST of the team will pull together and continue to play well around Charlie Batch, then they should be able to beat the Chargers. I'd try to give Ben one more game before going into Dallas.
On the other hand, Ben hasn't always fared well in those "first game back" scenarios. Maybe get him a little second-half time?

Charlie got a big win, but it sure seemed to take him some time to find guys that were wide open.
Whaddya think...we can drop one of the next four and still get the #6 spot, as long as the loss isn't against the Bengals?

True, and yes.
Also fucking sick of the drops. Wallace, obviously, but Sanders too. That ain't helpin' the old man any.
Chargers blow. Our defense should win that game. So Charlie starts, and Ben gets some cleanup reps? Sounds fine to me. Let me call Tomlin and let him know how we've voted.

Tweeted that this was a game of Which QB can hold on to the ball too long the longest.
Theoretically, we SHOULD run the table, even without Ben. Realistically, we won't. But I am seriously concerned that Ben get as healthy as possible. Think the team can get to the playoffs and still take care of his health. It's for sure that the Steelers have little chance in the playoffs without him.

Where do you think Tomlin was rushing off to postgame?
He knows how I feel about handling personnel matters through voicemail.

We can lose however many games the Bengals lose as long as we beat them in the next meeting.
If Charlie/Ben can pull it off, we have an opportunity to win the division. Ravens have Redskins, Bronco's, Giants and Bengals left to play. The could easily lose 3 of those games, maybe even 4, especially the way they are playing. If that happens and Steelers win out Steelers win the division.

We're not winning the division.
It doesn't matter.
We're getting healthy at the right time.
A healthy Steelers team >> 2012 Ravens.
Ravens' record is deceptive. Mediocre team with good record. Good records mean donkeyfuck in the postseason.
I would not look forward to traveling to Denver and being sans Clark. Both Broncos and Steelers are better than they were in the opener. That said, I'm not afraid of them for the rematch.
Patsies are fattening on bad teams. They will suffer their usual recent end of season collapse, before any Super Bowl berth. They feel great now. Good for them.
Texans are the team to beat. But they can be beaten. They are not invincible.
Colts, Bengals can be irksome. They're flawed. I would welcome either in the postseason.
NFC is scarier than AFC this year. We have an opportunity. But all the NFC teams have floated to the top, and shown vulnerability, and burbled back down. Giants? Beat 'em. Niners? Peaked. Bears? Offense. Falcons? Winnable. Packers? Off. Seahawks? Unstable. Redskins? Beat 'em. Who else ya got? Vikings? LOL. Cowboys? Fuck you. Not saying we're a SB caliber team right now, but we've resurrected Phoenix-like from the ashes and there is no team that should feel happy about seeing us in the post.
I guarantee you that if we meet the Ravens in the playoffs we beat their smirking asses. Fucking douchers.

We're not winning the division.
I'm not saying I think we will wind the division, but i am saying it's not as unfathomable as it was a week ago.
