What, no love for Kunt Grayham?

Batch should start.  Bring in Seneca Wallace for tryout or give Troy Smith a call.

Kent Graham... he moves the chains.

Bring him in and get Kordell to play some wideout, FTW!

Why is Jerrod Johnson not on the short list?

I'm guessing he did not perform as well in camp as he showed in preseason. But he WAS the highest rated passer for the team during the preseason. And he at least has seen the playbook.

The old-timers we've been leaning on are both old and have always been injury prone. I mean, for pete's sake, both these guys have placed themselves on IR by injuring themselves in the recent past!

We really need to find a younger guy to become a real backup. Even though we need to restock the cabinet at S, CB, LB and RB this coming draft, I'd fully support drafting a viable QB in rounds 2 or 3.

This is nice:

A natural would be Dennis Dixon. The Ravens re-signed him to their practice squad not long after Roethlisberger's injury against the Chiefs eight days ago. The only way for the Steelers to get their former backup quarterback to return would be to sign him to their 53-man roster, and with their top two quarterbacks down, that is possible.

It'd be nice to have a backup like Kaepernick.  Of course, you gotta invest a little to get that, he was had for a 2nd rounder.
