Yes, Wallace is sucking, but...

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/8653834/plaxico-burress-expected-visit-take-physical-pittsburgh-steelers-source

Plax?  Seriously?  WR is like #11 in the list of top 10 roster issues at the moment.

And also...Plax?  Seriously?

Maybe he just realized he forgot some stuff and is coming to get it.

I think he's interviewing for the backup QB spot.

That's what I was wondering?

They had Swann & Stallworth at the game last night. I wonder if they took physicals?

You didn't hear?  Stallworth dislocated his shoulder waving a Terrible Towel.  Swanny blew out his ACL trying to avoid getting hit by it.

I saw that article today and couldn't believe it.  I was hoping I was reading the Onion er somtn.

If AB has a really bad high sprain, he too could be out the rest of the year.

See the fucking douchebag Ravens post-game with their Terrible Towels in the locker room?  I am sick and fucking tired of losing to their lucky low-rent asses.

Hard to say what's up with the Plax thing.  For now he'd replace Gilreath.  AB better be coming back.  Fucker.  Maybe we go deeper at WR and use him for RZ?  I'd be willing to give it a shot.  Our WR corps would be fucking loaded.  Welcome back to the club!

DJF ran the numbers and Plax gets the nod over Hines.

I really don't know how they can sing  Plax.  They also need to sing a QB which means they have to cut 2 current players.  Maybe Plax replaces Gilreath?  More experience, but I figure Tomlin would play the guy they have had on the roster all year so far.  Plus, did they already add DeCastro to the roster or is that coming up in the next week or two?

If that hasn't happened yet, then they need to cut 3.  Maybe wait and see how bad Charlie gets hurt.  If not, put Lefty on IR?  My vote would be to IR Mendenhall.

EDIT - I forgot about Cotchery.  Maybe he's hurt bad enough to IR.

Cotchery has some cracked ribs too.  Possible they IR Lefty and Cotchy and sing Plax and one of the QBs.  When DDC comes back Kelvin Beachum can go back to the practice squad.

If they think Lefty or Cotchy can come back, maybe they release someone like DeMarcus van Dyke, or send Gilreath back to the PS as well.

They'll figure it out.

It's Hoyer and Plax.

Hope Hoyer's a quick study.

I had to Google that Hoyer dude.

I don't see how we can just suddenly start putting white backup QBs on the roster.

At least Hoyer can play Brandon Weeden for the scout team.  Although he might be too young.

Funny, and true:  Hoyer = 27, Weeden = 29.

Batch starts, gets injured, Tomlin keeps him in anyway; Hoyer gets the call in Balty.

Man, we should see what Duce Staley is up to.

I though Steve McNair deserved a shot.

See what I did there?

Steelers release Batch and McFadden.

McFadden?  Was he still on the team?

Batch is a surprise...

In other breaking news, the Ravens have signed back CB Chris McAlister and QB Kye Boller...
