Sure, the Chargers game was an unmitigated load of elephant shit, but fear not, Steeler faithful!

*We're done with the AFC West part of the schedule.  Did anyone think we would go 1-3 against these powerhouse teams?  I know I didn't!

*No more delusions that the Steelers will "get healthy" and "go on a postseason tear."  This team isn't doing that.  We may make the playoffs, but have exactly ONE win against a team more than one win over 0.500 (Baltimore).

*Willie Colon is done for the rest of the regular season.  I realize we'll miss his false starts, continual proclivity for getting hurt, and his big fat salary cap hit, but maybe we'll actually see DeCastro play a bit.  Crazy, having your first rounder play his rookie season, right?

*The sooner the season ends, the better the draft position!

*We've learned valuable lessons this season about ball security, field position, turnovers, and other things that might not have occurred to the coaching staff in training camp.

*Easier to get tickets.

Don't forget that Roger is entertaining the idea of eliminating kickoffs.

That means we won't have to start at the 12 yard line anymore!!!

Good point!  And with the emphasis on player safety, we really won't need to draft defensive players any more, just round up some scrubs.
